However, after reviewing your initial email & photographs provided, to say "fell apart" is exaggerated we believe the issues depicted are not defects but rather a result of the wear of the skirt. Unfortunately, the tweed material from which this item is crafted features a complex design, and delicate fabrics like this can be more prone to "general wear and tear," such as fraying, wearing, and fading, if not properly cared for.
This material is also more vulnerable to being caught or pulled, which explains what we observe in the photographs provided, as a result of normal wear and from general rubbing of the garment, even during skin-to-skin or material contact. Naturally, all these factors can easily occur unintentionally, and other items can also contribute to the problem, such as jewelry, bags, hooks, and even exposure to wet or damp conditions, which can exacerbate the situation.
